We traveled with a large group of friends and stayed near Bijagua at the Rio Celeste Hide Away. We were met at the airport by Marlon and spent the next 2 days on various tours and excursions he led us on. We began with an amazing hike into the Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio where Marlon's knowledge and deep passion for the rain forest and each creature living within made for an amazing experience. We followed our hike with lunch at a local restaurant where we were met with warm smiles and a wonderful traditional lunch. We followed our day hike with a night hike, where, with the help of flashlights, we were able to see creatures of the night, up close and personal. The following day we were welcomed into a family run cacao farm and again felt very welcomed by everyone. Thank you is not enough to say to Marlon, as his passion and true love of Costa Rica and its beauty left us all with very special memories and a desire to return. I would highly recommend Marlon for groups, families, couples or singles. Dress for the weather and conditions, Marlon will not disappoint. Pura Vida.

We had an amazing day with Rainforest Tours on 6/29/24. We were able to experience the Hanging Bridges, Sloth Tour, and the Tree Chocolate Farm. We were lucky enough to be paired with Walter Diaz as our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable on native plants and animals. He cultivated amazing experiences for our family at each location. Walter was enthusiastic, positive, and joyful. He encouraged our family to try speaking Spanish and always offered a translation. His love of the outdoors and fun personality easily engaged our teens for the duration. Our driver, Johnny, was thoughtful and considerate. He interacted joyfully with the whole family. We shared lunch and some laughs about our music preferences throughout the day. By the end of the day we felt like family. Highly recommend, and if you see them, tell them we say “hi”.

My wife and I had Marlon as our guide today and we can't stop talking about how great the tour was. Marlon was super friendly when he picked us up, giving us facts about Costa Rica on the drive to the tree chocolate tour and pointing out wildlife on the way. Once we were at the chocolate tour, Marlon took us on a hike through the plantation that was very engaging and lots of sampling and smelling of different plants and pointing out of animals. He even brought a telescope with to see the animals up close. On our way back to the hotel, we stopped at a restaurant and ate lunch with Marlon. We mentioned that we still needed to see a Sloth in Costa Rica and Marlon went out of his way to find one for us, searching for one at the restaurant and then finding one on our drive back where he pulled off and let us get out to see the Sloth with the telescope. Thank you so much, Marlon! I wish we could give more than 5 stars because Marlon definitely deserves it! 🙂
