Wonderful evening first getting very very close and personal with a sloth. Then after sunset seeing a huge array of animals ranging from tiny glass and red eyed frogs to a wandering tapir. We saw so much and the guide was amazing, ing at explaining everything. It was a truly magical few hours.

We had two wonderful experiences with the Sloth tour and the Tapir Valley tour. Carlos was our guide with the Sloth tour and did an amazing job showing us around and teaching us about the local wildlife and history of the region. Marlon was our guide for the Tapir Valley and showed us amazing wild life unique to the region, made sure we didn’t die from a pit viper, and I think I may have shown him his first raccoon in Tapir valley. 😂 Loved these guys and wished we had spent more of our time in the Rio Celeste area.

Our nighttime tour of Tapir Vally was amazing. Our guide Marlon went to great lengths to find the tapir. He also found many other spices of snakes, birds and frogs one of which is unique to this are of Costa Rica and can be found nowhere elae in the world and birds. The tour ended with a sighting of a two toed sloth , fireflies, and the moon appearing through the clouds. We also had a tour of the hanging bidges concluding with coffee at Marlon's bird watching platform, where we saw more three toed sloths , Tucans, and many small beautiful birds and butterfly 🦋 . The biodiversity and protection of wildlife in the Bijagua rainforest is just amazing. The rest of the world could learn many lessons from the achievements of the people of Costa Rica 🇨🇷.

We were very fortunate to have Marlon from Bigajua Rainforest tours for 2 and a half days on our recent trip in Costa Rica. He took us to the blue waterfall and thermal springs, the Arenal hanging bridges and for a night walk in Tapir valley. Marlon has a huge knowledge of the wildlife of Costa Rica, which he shared at just the right pace - he really engaged our teenagers as well as the adults and we learnt lots about the natural world around us. As well as that we had some spontaneous stops along the way which gave us more insight to the life people live in Costa Rica- for example at a local pastry shop, selling things we'd never eaten before and on spotting a small crowd at the roadside Marlon caught sight of a sloth up a tree, that the locals were watching and we then did too- amazing to see. The night walk was a very special highlight and although the Tapirs eluded us, we saw a wealth of tropical insects and amphibians including fireflies, a viper and a red eyed tree frog. Marlon's guiding (and driving!) was excellent - highly recommend.
